You should always check your camping equipment before you go camping (especially at the start of the season) to see if everything is properly functional and nothing camping equipment-related will get in the way of all of your fun. Camping enthusiasts, you should know that there have been several new developments made in the design of all kinds of camping equipment—so you may want to search for something manufactured with higher technology and better safety ratings. Or you may seek new camping gear just to add to the fun! Any camper, whether an amateur or an expert camper, should consider his or her camping equipment and make sure nothing important is left behind. For example: you may have a camelback water pack for hiking that was working perfect for you the last two years, but it needs to be replaced due to wear and tear. But this same kind of water carrier may have been used only on occasion by a less avid camper, and will therefore last longer.
